One other thing

I forgot one of the best parts of our lake-vaca was our little mud monster. It started out with a bucket and a shovel, and turned into much more, as things often do with Aaron in charge. I don't think she's ever had this much fun. She's been asking when Nana and Papa will be mud monsters too. Sorry guys, just try saying no to that face.

What we've been up to

It's been a bit hectic around here lately. As I'm writing this our dining room and kitchen are filled with 2 huge carpet dryers, a lot of water, which apparently came from next door, workers, tools... Our apartment has seemed very small the last few days. They should be done tomorrow. Until then I'm wondering what kind of acrobatics it will take to fix lunch.

Here are some catchup photos
We had a mini vacation at the lake last week, it was completely restful and much needed.

Ilon and Gabe

We went to the Science Museum. Great rainy day fun with a fantastic dress-up area.

Speaking of ballerinas, our cute cousin Sydnee just turned 1! She threw a terrific party, Happy birthday little one!

Burritos and Ballet

We took Ilon to Brown Bag Ballet at a university near us where my sister, Meredith, works. Ilon was convinced that the ballet costume she had was for swimming until she saw real ballerinas. She loved it, and danced away afterwards.
Waiting for the show

Almost too enthralled to eat her buritto
