A little Colorado update... I decided I needed gloves when walking to work in the morning on AUGUST 29. Come October you may find me frozen on the side walk half way there. It's not cold in the day, I'd probably thaw out ok.

Aaron is officially a substitute school bus driver in Alamosa, a little part time job. He loves it. Anyone surprised?

Ilon used the words complicated and frustrated in the same sentence, and it made sense. The growing up part stops here Ilon!

Gabers, Gabe-face, Gabester, Fisher (from Ilon), and smella-fella. He is crawling. It takes him awhile because he has to stop and giggle every now and then, but he's on the move. All 17 lbs of him.

Ilon's birthday party

We had a very fun party for Ilon on Saturday. It was an under the sea theme, complete with Nemo cupcakes, an inflatable pool, and water balloons. Ilon got her own special little mermaid cupcake. Lots of freinds and lots of fun. I can't believe that she's three.

She got a new bike from us. She already had her first crash but got right back on.

Ilons Birthday

We went camping with Andrew, Michelle, and Addie for Ilon's birthday. We had a wonderful time and camped at one of the prettiest area's that we have been to since we have been back. It was beautiful. Ilon had a great time. She loves to camp.

The Fence

Ilon's been helping with Aaron's round the house projects, she's a good little worker!

The Package

Ilon's birthday is on Saturday. So yesterday a package came in the mail and Ilon decided to have an early birthday present and open it herself. And put it on. And wear it for the next 24 hours. We'll be monitoring the mail a little more closely from now on!

The Weekend

This weekend was beautiful and I had 3 days off in a row! We had a good time.

Some good friends came for dinner. Gabriel and Paige can hang out for hours, it's quite cute!

Ilon, Madison and Brooklyn can play dress-up till the cows come home. That's also pretty cute.

Farmer's Market Goodies. This week was peaches, flowers, honey and mixed salad greens. I can't resist the sunflowers!

We went hiking on Bennet Peak. This is right before we set out...

Ilon and Gabriel actually did great and mostly smiled through the whole 5 or so miles. Ilon hiked and sang and Gabe had his jolly little grin. And they both got a good nap in:)

Summer time fun!

We went to the Stampede parade and saw Smokey Bear, tractors, a lot of farm equipment, and the local taxidermist!

Ilon and Addie had their first sleepover this week. It involved a lot of running around and screaming. Little Gabe doesn't know quite what to think about it all!
