Lights in Alamosa

We went to the Alamosa Christmas Lighting where they start at one end of the town and turn on all the Christmas lights until they get to the train. They have a band, cookies, hot chocolate and this year reindeer! It's fun to be a part of, you always see someone you know and it's a great way to welcome the new season!

Ilon's dinner

Ilon loves a special night out. She loves to dress up, pick her own clothes, and get excited about the evening. So last week when it was cold and we were all a little stir crazy we let Ilon have her evening. She picked Chili's, a grilled cheese, chocolate cake, and a pink and black dress with a faux fur pink jacket. This is my daughter. Gabe of course will never complain about chocolate cake. Or cheese. It was fun!

Happy Halloween! We had a great evening with dinner, games, music, trick-or-treating and funny kids running around.

Ending the night with a snuggle. The kids were asleep in an instant, exhausted from all the excitement.

Gabe graduated to a toddler bed and LOVES it. He drags all of his toys, books, and cars in with him and plays till he falls asleep hanging off the bed.

It's been a busy month.

Our sweet nephew Treven David Roepke was born October 5th, a darling little boy!

Gabriel adores him, he seems to have a thing for babies!

Happy 30th to me!

I went on a sunset horseback ride through the aspens in the mountains. It was gorgeous, cold, and smelled heavenly. We had a lovely time!

And then Aaron threw me a surprise party. A very big SURPRISE. Love you honey, thanks for making 30 special!
