bahahhaahahaha

Had to work the ER this weekend. Luckily, Alamosa prom goers kept there party-ing to themselves. As for the rest of the loud and disorderly, you made my night go quickly. Thanks for that.

The beauty of marriage... for our kids.

Aaron and I have very different personalities. Sometimes it drives us crazy, but I was struck today when I came home to find our guest bed in the living room set up for a sleepover, with 2 little kiddos giggling about their movie night, that they get the best of both of us, (along with the worst).

While I am worrying about cleaning and holes in my children's teeth, Aaron is worried about...
Saturday morning donuts and chocolate milk while mom is sleeping.
Forts, castles, camp-outs in the living room
Burger King play area
Candy
Ice cream

When Aaron is not around we have...
Mermaid tails and Diego vests sewed on demand
Smoothie and tea stops
Spinach salads and tofu
Paint/glue/buttons/sequins

Balance is everything.

Easter

Thankful for a risen Christ and a new beginning every day.
What a thing to celebrate!

Hot Cross Buns, 2 years running and they have now become a tradition. Things seem to taste so much better when you only have them once a year!

We had a great Easter dinner and hunt at Andrew and Michelle's, and a belated birthday party for Dave!

Happy Birthday Dave! We love you!

Lake weekend!

We headed over the mountains to sunny Amarillo, a lovely 90 degrees, gorgeous and peaceful. It was lovely to hang out with family!

We headed home and crossed the Colorado state line into a beautiful storm.

And woke up to this the next morning!

Wow! It's been awhile dear blog. To catch up.....

Addie and Trev came to hang out one weekend, we had a great time with campouts and fires, it's pretty fun with four kids around! Gabe wore pink most of the weekend and Trev talked and talked, so many new words. It's good to be outside again!

Aaahhhh, Sunday.

I was on call Saturday night, a rare treat, and got to help (barely) Andrew and Michelle move into their new house. I got the awful 2:51 AM call in to work Sunday morning (is that really morning?) misery misery, but got to sleep in until 11 AM and woke up to this:

Which means I did this all afternoon while the rest of the family slept.

Until my darling husband got these

And we had a family conference making Pro/Con lists of Idaho and Montana.
Ilon's main concerns; swimming, parks, and on the back, grilled cheese. Gabe just wants wolves. And bears.

So if we live within driving distance of a zoo or forest, supermarket or convenience store, and a pool, we are pretty much good to go as far as the kids are concerned.

As far as I'm concerned, there is an Einstein's Bagels in Moscow, Idaho.
Priorities people.
