A year

It's been a year, and then some, since we moved. We picked up and moved across the country; hopeful and more than a little anxious about all the NEW. A new job, new schools, new friends, new church, new grocery stores, new parks, new new new. Turns out, we love it here. The new has become familiar, and what we call home for now. Whatever the future has in store, we are happy to be here.

This summer we have camped, hiked, swam, enjoyed the town, played with friends.

I went to Texas to celebrate the life of my Grandmother Jodie, whose face I see when I look at my sisters, my mom, and my
daughter.

Nana and Papa came, loved on us and our kids, explored the town and our summer hotspots.

We have successfully planted our first garden, and eaten from it! We have more exploring to do, adventures planned for the summer. Thankful for this time in life, for family, for experiences we hoped for and some we were presently surprised by.
