No elmo panties, extra shorts, sippy cup, snack, chapstick, bear, blanket, or legos allowed. Not that we don't love those things, but it is always a treat to leave the house empty handed, or at least holding only your husbands hand.
For our anniversary we got last minute tickets to Huey Lewis and the News (is that how you spell Huey??) at the Dallas Symphony. Our seats were so close we could see the sweat flying and their sheet music. It was pretty awesome! If you don't know what they sing, give it a quick google, you'll definitely recognize some songs.
We ate at Mi Cocina, took the train downtown, and met some old friends at the concert. And by old I mean 80's (they've been married 46years) . This couple still goes to shows all over; the drummer threw his stick towards the wife at the end of the show and she grabbed it and held on for dear life. I hope to be that spunky in about 50 years!
