Vacation

We went on a Thanksgiving vacation this year and stayed in a little 1-room cabin in South Fork, CO. It was everything you might think it would be.... gorgeous view, crisp air, Christmas lights, fires, games, baby in a crib in the bathroom at night because he wakes up every time anyone breathes, 3 yr old running back and forth from her bed to ours, because she can... By the 3rd night everyone got used to it, amazing that people used to (and still do) live like this. My hat is off to you. Anyway it really was fun and much-needed. We had a great time, and can't wait to go back (without kids).

Spaghetti dinner

Lazy mornings. (Note my red-baggy eyes, why are they so cheerful??)

Dessert.

Aaron loves a good fire.

Freezing-cold beautiful river

I heart cross-country skiing.
Ilon learning how to ski.

What's wrong with this picture? My back still hurts.

Ilon, exhausted from her 3 minute skiing lesson and riding in the sled. She seriously fell asleep. Might have something to do with her activities at night...

Looks like a wonderful time! (Well, except for not sleeping all that great.) Did you know I worked there one summer in high school? Yup, I cleaned that cabin...
