Gabriel is 3! We went to the Electric Safari at the Colorado Springs Zoo. Christmas lights, bon-fires, and all the animals that like the cold were out!! We were sad that the Grizzly bears had already gone to sleep for the winter, the one Gabe most wanted to see. He loved the moose, otters, tigers, giraffes, and mountain lions.
Gabriel opened presents at the hotel, and with each one asked, "is this for me?" and "do I get to take this home?" He may not have quite understood birthdays before, but he does now!

We had a great breakfast in downtown Colorado Springs and enjoyed the gorgeous weather outside!
